1. Guided Meditation
Learn to just “BE”. Offered to students and RWC members, you will be introduced to the basics of meditating with different guided meditations each week. Classes are 4:30 PM on Tuesdays and 7:45 PM on Sundays at Knight’s Plaza, 4000 Central Florida Blvd. Orlando, 32816.
2. Collegiate Village Inn’s Pool Party
There’s still time to become a Collegiate Village Inn resident, or get to know someone who is, in order to attend one of the biggest pool parties in the UCF area. Kick off the school year Friday September 07, 2018 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a DJ, Food, Games and Prizes and the chance to Win TWO Tickets to Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay Water Park. 3. GSA Tailgate with Grad Outreach
GSA and Grad Outreach will be hosting a tailgate on Sunday September 9, 2018 from noon to 6:00 pm at Memory Mall to celebrate the first home football game. Check their social media for updates and more specific information!
4. Electric Vehicle Display
UCF will be hosting an electric vehicle display to commemorate National Drive Week on Thursday September 13, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Enjoy the display of fuel independent vehicles, interact with owners, and gain insight into the electric vehicle experience. The event will take place outside of the Student Union in conjunction with community partners. This is a free event; all are welcome to attend.
5. Murder Mystery Dinner
If you like murder mystery books, movies or games you don’t want to miss this: UCF’s Graduate Student Association is hosting a night of mystery and fun with “Who did it?” Wednesday September 19, 2018 at the Barbara Ying Center from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. (Don`t forget your magnifying glass.)
6. Celebration Knights
Celebration Knights are open community meetings that celebrate milestones of recovery. These celebrations are open to the entire recovery community, both on and around campus. Celebration Knights offers an opportunity for anyone to share their journeys, celebrate anniversaries, and is a great time to join together with community leaders to celebrate all things recovery. This event is on Thursday September 20, 2018 at 8:00 PM at the Barbara Ying Center and is hosted by the Sober Knights.
